My first online shopping experience!
Tuesday, 20 November 2012 @ 6:02 am

Yay! My packages for stuff I bought online came today!

1) Training cones for football
2) Neckerman men's sneakers

My cones were ordered on eBay and it was shipped from UK so it took around a week for it to reach my doorstep whereas the Neckermans were bought from Zalora.sg so it took only 2 days to reach here, shorter than their website said it would take - 3 to 5 days

^^
Well it's local shipping and Zalora offers free shipping!

So true...

My stuff !

^^

That's all for now. Driving is getting better, getting the hang of it day by day. If all goes well, I should get my license by Chinese New Year. Then can drive up to Malaysia, LOL... Then my parents sure ask me to takeover them when driving up to Malaysia -.-

Okay bye.

First lesson on the road
Friday, 16 November 2012 @ 4:13 am
Friday 4:05a.m now but gonna post this from a Thursday perspective.

Had my first lesson on the road today. It felt kinda exciting and fun but definitely way more scary and nervewrecking.
Even though it was along an ulu stretch of road in the SengKang area with very little cars, to drive on the roads for the first time is fucking scary.
My hands were all sweaty and my legs were trembling a little. Manual cars are such a bitch, but once you learn it, auto cars are as easy as nuts.

After the 1hr40min lesson, I drove back to my pick-up point at Kovan in one piece, despite my engine stalling once embarrasingly on the main road just before a traffic junction.

My next lesson is tomorrow, followed by a full week of lessons from next Monday to Friday. Idk if I can handle this omg T-T
But I guess everything is like that, the first experience is always the most fucked up but everything has a beginning...

Alright, I hope I don't freak out again tomorrow when I hit the road again. Wish me luck ~ Omggg

Driving lessons
Sunday, 11 November 2012 @ 5:11 am
Haven't blogged for awhile now.. Nothing to blog about lol
Been rotting at home recently.

Started my driving lesson on Thursday though. My steering is okay, but my footwork on the pedals are terrible.

Manual cars are difficult to master man ... but it still remains more popular than auto cars, mainly due to the flexibility manual cars provide.

My next lesson is on Wednesday and my instructor said we might be driving on the road already, not the driving circuit anymore..
Ahhh so nervous, even though it's gonna be at the SengKang/Punggol side there, where traffic is relatively light.
But still, the thought of driving on the road when I haven't even mastered the pedal footwork is horrifying..

My engine has stalled like 4 or 5 times while driving in the circuit, I'm pretty sure driving on the road will not only not help, but make things worse.. T.T
Anyway that's all for now.
