I'm so stuck up. I can't really imagine, now I'm in Sec2 and already I have to study so godamn bloody hard. I CAN'T IMAGINE how life would be at Sec3. Oh my god,I really can't. My head's just all screwed up. So many things to remember-7 subjects, each of them has it's own stuff. Science-Formulas and key words/points,and some elements or chemicals have to be memorised as they are NOT on the periodic table. Maths-Formulas for Mensuration, and also need ALOT of practice. Chinese-NOT that much really, but as I have a weak Chinese foundation,I can't really aim to do well in it. English-Well,I would say it's my favourite language and of course I have never preferred Chinese lessons to English more than 1 time in my entire schooling life since...Kindergarten?

And basically, those are your 4 main subjects...but alongside exams. You have to count in projects,assessments,assignments,homework...whatever the teacher just throws up to you and expects you to complete...it's all down...which makes me really miss those Primary school days and realising the stress factor of PSLE is NOTHING...compared to the stress and pressure that we Secondary teens are facing right now. I can certainly tell you that more than 75% of my current stress and pressures are derived from school and all the work piling up and up. Projects, assignments, tasks here, there and everywhere. Which always leave me looking for extra space on my planner...

Look at it this way. 24 hours a day. We spend 8 hours(1/3) of the day sleeping...and then school is from 8-1.20,that is around 5.5 hours. So 13.5 hours out of 24 hours is gone on non-free time. And apart from that, there's travel time...so I have to wake up at 6.30a.m every morning...and coming back home would take around 20mins - half an hour. so I think 16 hours are pretty much wasted in a day. Sixteen out of twenty-four hours!...That's like two-thirds of a day wasted on non-free time. Other than that, you need time on homework, projects, assignments,a little MSN chattin(if you can)...All those things add up to 3-5 hours? So you have left about 3 or 4 hours of free time only in a day...Free time as in things you do outside school stuff...

So really, sometimes when I go to M'sia, they are the best days of my life annually...I usually go to visit my grandma...I will either take a train or ride by car with my parents. And as I look out on the scenery, the greenery of the M'sian forests and grasslands...as you know. Green helps you to relax better. Seriously...in Singapore, one step out of your house and look forward, left, right or behind you. All you see is buildings, sheltered places, and very little plants and greenery, less open space...Psychologically,it makes u more stressed being constantly exposed to urban lifestyle everyday...more n more middle-aged men getting grey hair earlier den usual now.

I just wish life could give a break...holidays? Sure...only 1/4 of the year are holidays...and we're being tortured by work and pressure nearly 3/4 of the day during school days. It is really damn stressful. I just wish I could take a break from life or I wish that my brain was as absorbent as a sponge. Just attend one lesson and you can complete one class test, whr other ppl need at least 2 or 3 lessons to recap. Haiz...STRESS!
